About Us
Street Medicine of Michigan Symposium
We're a group of volunteers from all walks of life coming together to create a collaborative space for anyone serving person's experiencing homelessness in Michigan, including anyone interested in helping or currently experiencing housing struggles.
Our symposium has, and always will be, open to anyone who serves individuals experiencing homelessness in any capacity or wants to get started.
Starting in 2023, Street Medicine teams across Michigan gathered to create Michigan's inaugural Street Medicine Symposium. We hope this symposium provides an opportunity for community members to discuss pertinent topics and find solutions working towards dismantling barriers in our communities, particularly that of people experiencing homelessness in the context of healthcare.
